Nice room we had, but I was expecting a little something by what I saw in the pictures. Next we’ll book a suit. But over all wide was happy. Large L7 to watch our favorite show😊 comfy bed. Maid could have done a better job at cleaning the floor. Bad

Location, Locatio, Location

Lovely small, boutique hotel that is walking distance to many museums and other attractions. It's only a very short walk to public transportation. Rooms are small, but the service was excellent. Located on a quiet street.

A bit disappointing

The main attraction of this hotel is its location in the leafy museum district. You are just around the corner from the Rjksmusuem and the Van Gogh, both fantastic destinations. For this position you pay a hefty premium ( 850E for 3 nights) even for a tiny, stuffy room - this was the smallest double I have ever slept in. Unfortunately, we overlooked the street outside which got very noisy in the dead of night for some reason, so opening the window was not an option. The final evening was the worst when two big shipping containers were crashed into position on the street outside at about 3am. In consequence we didn’t get a decent night’s sleep. The hotel itself is gloomy, with purple net curtains over every window and drab brown paint everywhere, even on the ceilings. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was relaxed.

Jan Luyken Hotel Amsterdam

Very nice hotel, clean and fresh, perfect location and the staff were amazing, they couldn't do enough for us, breakfast is a continental one and was plenty to get your day started.👍 The hotel area was nice and seemed an expensive area and you've got a shirt walk to the museum Quarter and the metro lines.
